SPRING 2008 SOCCER SIGN-UPS
SCHEDULE:
Thursday, January
3, 2008: Sign-ups begin on-line at this website (24x7)
or at Legacy Floorcovering (608 S. 9th in Durant) during
business hours (M-F 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM to
12:00 PM).
Saturday, January 12, 2008: Special
sign-ups at Taco Casa (324 N. 1st in Durant) from 10:00 AM to
2:00 PM.
Saturday, January 19, 2008: Special
sign-ups at Taco Casa in Durant from 10:00 AM to 2:00
PM.
Saturday, January 26, 2008: Special sign-ups
at Sporting Edge (3801 W. Main in Durant) from 10:00 AM to
2:00 PM.
Wednesday, January 30, 2008: Deadline
for U12 and U14 sign-ups.
Wednesday, February 6,
2008: Deadline for U5 thru U10
sign-ups.
Sign-up Fees:
U5 thru
U10 is $45.00 per child.
U12 and U14 is $50.00 per
child.
$5.00 discount for 2nd and 3rd child living in
the same household.
$10.00 discount fro 4th and 5th child
living in the same household.
Age Cutoff Date is August
1 (example: a child who turns 6 on or before July 31,
2007 moves up to U7 division and a child who turns 6 on
or after August 1, 2007 stays in the U6 division). A
child must turn 4 years old on or before July 31, 2007 to play
in both the Fall 2007 and Spring 2008 seasons.

About the Increase in
Fees: We
appreciate the opportunity to play on the new
city fields. With the changes going
on at the fields, the City has decided to charge $10.00 per player, per
season, for all sports, to help offset the cost of operations and capital
improvements. This means that our fees have gone up. A new parking lot and
other improvements are in the works that will greatly benefit
our players and fans.We all look forward to the improvements and changes to
come, and hope they arrive in a timely manner. The pie chart shows
the approximate breakdown of all of the fees for the
registrations that come into the Durant Soccer Club. Most of these are
self-explanatory, Other Equipment is nets, balls, flags,
tents, benches, etc. And the Reserve is where we dig out things like
donations to the high school soccer team, web fees, or other
unexpected soccer related fees.
