Thank You to all the kids, parents, and coaches for another successful season. Congratulations to our tournament champions in U8 and U10, you can see pics on our facebook page. U12-U14 will still have games in Durant and Sherman until May 11th, and you may check www.texomasoccer.org for any updates. Don't forget to signup early for fall, and we'll post a calendar for the fall signups and season soon. First games are September 14th.

A note to parents and coaches. We play soccer in the rain. If it's a hard driving rain, or lightning, we have a lightning detector, and will call the game if needed. The fields at the Multi-Sports Complex will take a good 2-3" of rain before they are unplayable. If the fields are unplayable and we have to cancel, it will be posted to the website. Please check the website often. If your kids play U12 and up, go to www.texomasoccer.org to get cancellation and schedule updates.
A very helpful tool for all parents and coaches to receive weather cancellation and soccer club updates, via text. Text the words, follow @DurantSoccerClb to 40404 This will send you any of our twitter updates via text on your phone. You don't have to have twitter to use this feature. You must type it exacty as we have it, and you'll be up and running to receive updates via text.
Individual Soccer Skills Lessons - Jul 16th 2010, 23:36
Glenn Price, a long time youth soccer coach, is offering individual soccer skills lessons to a limited number of youth.
Lessons will take place at the Multi Sports Complex and last one hour per session. Cost is $10/session. Maximum number of participants per session is four players and the minimum is two players, boys or girls.
Glenn is currently the Assistant Women's Coach at Austin College and has been the play coach for the Durant High School girl's team for five years, all of which were playoff seasons. He will be an instructor/coach at the upcoming soccer camp in August at the Multi Sports Complex, and at the recent Kangaroo soccer camp in Sherman this past June.

Practice is not allowed at the Multi-Sports Complex. These are game fields only. Teams caught practicing at the Multi-Sports Complex can be suspended from playing that week's games. 2-5-09
